Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits
Specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance.
ISO 14001:2015 helps an organisation achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental
management system, which provide value for the environment, the organisation itself and interested parties. Consistent with the organisation's environmental policy, the intended outcomes of an environmental management system include:
· enhancement of environmental performance;
· fulfilment of compliance obligations;
· achievement of environmental objectives.
ISO 28001:2007 provides requirements and guidance for organisations in international supply chains to:
ISO 22000 sets out the requirements for a food safety management system and can be certified to it. It maps out what an organization needs to do to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe. It can be used by any organization regardless of its size or position in the food chain.
BRC is an international Food Safety Management Systems standard, and is one of the GFSI recognised certification schemes. It contains requirements for food processors to follow to build an effective food safety management system. There are also editions of the standard for food packaging manufacturers, storage and distribution and now agent and brokers.
