Proud Packaging Limited is committed to being environmentally aware, actively supporting programs and initiatives that reduce the environmental impact of packaging. Our policy of continuous improvement has led to many market firsts in New Zealand and we continue to research new materials and methods as an integral part of our business strategy and operating procedures.

We seek to understand the affects of our business and supply-chain activities on the environment by supporting initiatives such as;

• New developments in packaging. 
• Waste Minimisation and actively looking to align our company with government set-goals.
• Recycling of material and wastage where possible.
• Development of our own working-group to look at the potential of waste solutions and technology not currently available or used in New Zealand.
• Offering and exploring environmentally friendly packaging alternatives where possible. 

We will encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.

We recognise that we have a responsibility to the environment to meet or exceed current legislative and regulatory requirements.

We will ensure that this policy and all procedures relating to it are understood, implemented and maintained by all company employees.
